Chelsea shot themselves in the foot brilliantly on Saturday. Well, brilliantly if you’re a rival fan looking to troll the Premier League champions.

We’re sure you heard the news, bottom-placed Crsytal Palace pulled off the most surprising result of the season so far, defeating the reigning champions 2-1 and leaving them nine points behind league leaders Manchester City.

Not many would have seen the result coming, but the Chelsea faithful could have foreseen the upset as soon as the club tempted fate on Twitter. They posted the below video on Twitter, explaining how bad Crystal Palace’s start to the season was and how they’re setting new, negative, Premier League records.

Whoever’s running the Chelsea social media channels ought to be sacked! This was entirely their fault.
