Gonzalo Higuain is a Chelsea player and wasted no time getting down to training with the team. He was also given a lift by one of his new teammates.
Gonzalo Higuain is entering a new league, a new country and a challenge like nothing he has ever experienced prior, but that’s not to say that there isn’t some familiarity in England, there’s always old friend and Chelsea midfield mastermind Jorginho.
The pair have a pre-existing relationship from their time together at Napoli, where Jorginho was assisting Higuain. The former Real Madrid striker may be hoping that Jorginho is able to up his game in terms of creativity – he’s yet to provide an assist in the Premier League.
That’s for the weekend, though. Higuain needed a lift to training for his first day at Cobham, and Jorginho was happy to provide the assist. His first of the season, but a significant one from our perspective.

We really hope that Higuain is able to cut it in a Chelsea shirt. Not only will it hopefully lead to us getting back into the Champions League, but if he proves to be a good signing, Marina may be inclined to trust Sarri’s judgement more in future.
