The Brazilian should have been sent off in the first half for a blatant kick out at Victor Camarasa.
Instead he stayed on the pitch, where he failed to complete a single pass in the first period.
To cap it all off, he was given the chance to hand 10 man Newcastle the 3 points in the dying moments.
