Chelsea were fortunate to even get a point out of last night’s clash with Atletico Madrid.
The Blues deserved the victory that would see them progress as group winners, and avoid the likes of Barcelona and PSG in the knockout stages of the Champions League, but were not clinical enough to break through Atletico’s stubborn defence.
It took an own-goal from former Manchester City defender Stefan Savic to level the scores and gift Antonio Conte’s side a point. Here’s the goal, it was great work from Eden Hazard down the left-hand-side and Savic was mightily unlucky to fire past Jan Oblak.
