The people of Argentina have reacted DISGRACEFULLY to Willy Caballero’s horror mistake against Croatia at the World Cup.
Caballero messed up, big-time. He’d be the first to admit that, there’s no hiding from how catastrophic a mistake it was. And of all stages, the World Cup, representing his country, the hopes of a nation, children’s dreams crushed.
Despite the severity of his error, for people to react in this manner is unforgivable. It’s an utter, utter disgrace, and the worst part about it is that there will be no repercussions for the brutal words that people have harassed Willy with over the past couple of days.
At the beginning of June, Caballero posted a photo on Instagram alongside his partner and daughter. Three weeks on, that photo has now been attacked with brutal comments from heart-broken Argentinians.
We’re not going to translate every single one, but just to give you an idea, the first one you can see in the below screenshots reads “what an ugly daughter you have.”
