WE HAVE A VERY EXCITING UPDATE TO BRING YOU COURTESY OF MATT LAW.

Sorry, we’ll stop the shouting. According to Telegraph journalist Matt Law, Chelsea may well bring in three players before the deadline at 11pm.

The first, Torino full-back Davide Zappacosta. He was handed his first call up for the Italian national side by Antonio Conte and has gone on to make four appearances for his country. He can play both on the right and left flank of the defence.

The second, Leicester City midfielder Danny Drinkwater. His partnership with N’Golo Kante was one of the main reasons the Foxes were triumphant in the Premier League in 2015/16. Matt Law claims that the pair could be set to be reunited in West London.

Matt Law suggests that there is a possibility of a third player, and the club are working on securing his signature. He does not name who, however – who could it be?
