It is looking increasingly likely that Chelsea loanee Tiemoue Bakayoko will be leaving AC Milan at the season’s end.

A month ago it appeared improbable that we would ever see the Frenchman in a Chelsea shirt again, with his loan to the San Siro providing the spark for him to revive his career.

A reinvigorated Bakayoko provided steel and assurance to a disjointed Milan midfield, with him becoming a cornerstone in Gennaro Gattuso’s starting eleven.

The situation has changed in Milan, however, at least that’s what’s claimed by Italian publication Calciomercato.

The report notes that Bakayoko arrived late to Milan training, an hour late, to be precise. He claimed that he had issues with his car, but nobody at the club is convinced.

Though Calciomercato’s information claims that both Gattuso and those above him are convinced that Bakayoko would be a worthwhile signing in a footballing sense, they’re not impressed by his attitude.

As a result, the door has opened for a return to Stamford Bridge, with Milan having doubts over signing him permanently. It remains unclear what Maurizio Sarri’s take on the situation is.

Would you like to see him back in Chelsea blue?

I was under the impression that he wanted to leave was because of the racist abuse he suffers from in Italy.
