A training ground report from Cobham has given us a good idea of who will play and not play against Brentford on Friday.

Chelsea’s next game is on Friday night and it will be live on Sky Sports, meaning the media company got a little glimpse of training action at Stamford Bridge.
Their reporter James Savundra noted a few interesting things from the session – both in terms of the players who were present and those who weren’t.
Unfortunately the headline has to be that Moises Caicedo wasn’t there. Xabi Alonso has been telling us week after week that the midfielder is close to a return, but if he’s not in group training at this point we can only assume he will miss the Brentford game and use the international break for a rest.
Chelsea prepare for Friday night game with changed group

Also not at the session were Reece James and Joao Pedro – although it feels likely they are just being given an extra day off to rest up. There’s no indication of injury yet in either case.
In terms of who is training, both Marco Palestra and Jordan Henderson are finally back with the group as they prepare for their competitive debuts. We think both could get a few minutes on Friday night.

In other news…
There’s been a lot of talk about Estevao in recent weeks and a lack of football for him – one person backing him to be a top star is John Terry.
Terry also slammed Chelsea’s dreadful defending in their draw with Hull City at Stamford Bridge.
