Antonio Conte

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has conceded that Manchester City’s form is worrying for his team’s title aspirations, the Independent reports.

The league leaders have been playing some mesmeric football so far this season. Their most recent victory was over Serie A leaders Napoli 4-2 in Italy on Wednesday. Pep Guardiola’s team has scored 35 league goals in their last 10 league games.

In today’s earlier press conference, Conte believes that not only Chelsea but other teams in the title hunt will be worried about City’s impressive form, as the Independent reports.

The Independent quotes Conte saying:

“I think that, now, there is a big problem for all the teams that want to fight for the title, and this big problem is Manchester City.”

The Blues’ inconsistent form in the league hasn’t made things much easier for us in our quest to win back to back championships.

Being nine points behind City and fourth place in the table leaves us Conte’s team in a precarious position.

We need to go on a winning-run in the league as well as hoping City drop points along the way.

With 28 league games left in the season, there is plenty of time to change our fortunes around. However, our focus must be on beating Manchester United this Sunday at Stamford Bridge.
