Antonio Conte

Three Chelsea fringe players could be handed an opportunity to impress against Qarabag on Tuesday night, according to the Telegraph.

Though Chelsea’s return to the Champions League has been highly anticipated and it’s a competition that we will be looking to go far in, you would like to think a fixture between the Premier League champions and some Azerbaijani minnows should not be a tough test for the former – all due respect to Qarabag.

The game provides Conte with an excellent opportunity to rotate and rest several key players, and the Telegraph believe that the Italian will take full advantage of that.

As per the Telegraph, Michy Batshuayi, Davide Zappacosta and Andreas Christensen could all be handed a start on Tuesday night. Batshuayi and Christensen have found minutes hard to come by in recent weeks, whereas Zappacosta will be looking for an opportunity to impress Conte and make the right-wing-back spot his own.
