The Guardian have taken a punt at predicting how Chelsea could lineup under Maurizio Sarri next season. They’ve also included each player’s average performance rating from last season.

If Monday’s victory over Perth Glory is anything to go by, Maurizio Sarri has no interest in keeping any part of Antonio Conte’s Chelsea blueprint intact. In fact, he’s going to tear it up and start from scratch.

It’s a lot to change in such a short period of time, but it’s a refreshment and reinvigoration that the squad desperately needs it. We’re lucky to have appointed a manager who’s not afraid of providing it.

Speaking of which, the Guardian believe that Chelsea could sign four more players between now and the end of the season. Kasper Schmeichel, Daniele Rugani, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Gonzalo Higuain are all included.

We’ll have to wait and see if their predictions prove to be on the money. Here’s how they reckon we could shape-up next term. We’d be surprised if this happens!

Now don’t that make your mouth water, only thing is I don’t rate Alonso so Emerson would be my choice.

Not a chance of David Luiz starting at centre half ahead of both Rudiger and Christensen.
