More details over the reason for N’Golo Kante’s absence against Manchester City have been revealed by The Telegraph.
The Frenchman caused a shock around Cobham in training on Friday ahead of the visit to the league leaders as Kante passed out in front of his teammates.
A club doctor attended to the midfielder’s aid and thankfully a report revealed that Kante had no heart problems, indicating his availability for the match against City, as The Telegraph reports.

Kante travelled with the rest of the squad however on the morning of the match, he was still feeling unwell and decided to sit out of the 1-0 defeat at the Etihad.
As per The Telegraph, last season’s PFA Player of the Year trained as normal on Monday with no problems and is expected to be ready to play Crystal Palace on Saturday.
With crucial games coming up and a spot in the Champions League on the line, Antonio Conte and the club will be relieved Kante has come through this recent scare.
