Sarri-ball has arrived at Stamford Bridge, and Chelsea fans are already seeing the results of Maurizio Sarri’s hard work.

What Sarri did with Napoli received widespread adulation. Not only did he take them past the 90 point mark and turn Aurelio De Laurentiis’ side into genuine title challengers – they manner in which they did it was also impressie.

Napoli played the best football in Europe last season alongside Premier League champions Manchester City, who are led by Pep Guardiola, a disciple of Johan Cruyff.

The prospect of Chelsea playing this kind of football, especially after the dross we endured under Antonio Conte last season, was incredibly exciting – and we haven’t been disappointed.

Not only have we won our opening two Premier League fixtures, but it’s clear to see that the player’s understanding of Sarri’s ideology is building.

As reported by Football London, there are five Chelsea players among the 15 who have completed the most successful passes in the Premier League this season.

They are, in order, David Luiz (173), Jorginho (165), Antonio Rudiger (148), Marcos Alonso (146) and Cesar Azpilicueta (143).

We imagine they will be in the top 15 for the majority of the coming season.
