A relieving update has come in from Thibaut Courtois’ situation as Chelsea prepare for the latter stages of the season.
After it was revealed that the 25-year-old was training away from the rest of the Belgium squad, thankfully, Courtois is expected to be available for our upcoming match against Tottenham Hotspur.
This was reported by reliable Belgian journalist Kristof Terreur, who not only understands Courtois will be ready to play against Spurs, but also stating that Roberto Martinez have decided no risks will be taken over the goalkeeper’s fitness.
Thibaut Courtois is expected to be back on Sunday versus Tottenham. Just a minor hamstring injury, but Belgium decided no to take any risk. #cfc #thfc

After picking up a hamstring injury in the build-up to the Blues’ FA Cup clash with Leicester City last Sunday, Willy Caballero did an excellent job in replacing Courtois.
That may prompt Antonio Conte to stick with the Argentine even if our regular first-choice shot-stopper has returned to full fitness.
A Chelsea victory against fourth-placed Spurs at Stamford Bridge on Easter Sunday will see us close the gap to just two points.
If Thibaut Courtois is fit to face Tottenham, who would you start between the sticks?
