The FA Cup provides Chelsea with the only opportunity for us to finish this season with a piece of silverware. Having been knocked-out of the Champions League by Barcelona midweek, and with the Premier League title heading to the Etihad, Antonio Conte’s men are in serious danger of finishing the season trophyless.
With a win tomorrow, we can take one step towards avoiding that by progressing in the FA Cup. However, Conte is not blessed with having a fully-fit squad at his disposal.
Physio Room report that David Luiz is still sidelined with an ankle injury. It’s claimed that the Brazilian is due to return on April 1st, but will be unavailable for the cup clash with the Foxes.
Physio Room report that Ross Barkley is continuing his recovery from a hamstring injury. There is no return date set for the January signing, but he will not be available for selection against Leicester.
