Chelsea legend Gianluca Vialli has claimed that he would still be a virgin had it not been for him becoming a footballer, report The Sun.
Vialli was not at Chelsea for long, but three years was all that he needed to etch his name into the club’s hall of fame. In 78 appearances for the Blues, he found the back of the net on 40 occasions.
His impressive goalscoring record is not all that was commendable about Vialli’s stint with the Blues – his spell as player-manager wasn’t half bad either!
In total, the Italian won four pieces of silverware during his time at Stamford Bridge, as well as becoming the youngest manager ever to win a European competition. That was until that record was broken by ex-Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas.
Vialli is a legend of the game, but things could have been a lot different in his life, or at least that’s what he thinks. He is quoted by The Sun claiming that he doesn’t think he would have had sex had he not become a footballer:
“I bought my first house, my first car, because of football. More importantly, I had sex for the first time because of football – otherwise I would still be a virgin!”
