Maurizio Sarri

Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard is unlikely to be involved in the Blues’ clash with Burnley on Sunday afternoon, according to Goal.

Hazard completed the 90 minutes against Manchester United last weekend, but he did not come out of the game ucnscathed.

The Belgian suffered an injury to his back and was subsequently left out of our match-day squad to face BATE in the Europa League on Thursday night.

Maurizio Sarri will have been wrapping Hazard up in cotton wool in hope of him being available to face Burnley at Turf Moor, but it doesn’t look as though he’s going to make it.

Goal are reporting that Hazard did not train with the Chelsea squad on Friday. He instead had treatment for his back injury, which still appears to be a problem.

As a result, it’s unlikely that Hazard will be fit and available by 1:30pm tomorrow afternoon. Chelsea will have to do without him, but who cares when you have Ruben Loftus-Cheek?

This is what you get with a one man team, ‘cos that’s what we are.
