Cesc Fabregas brilliantly trolled Harry Kane and Tottenham Hotspur after the England captain bagged a hat-trick against Panama.

Kane is now England’s joint second top-goalscorer in World Cup history following a hat-trick against the Panamanians in Russia. He leapfrogged Bobby Charlton and Michael Owen, drawing level with World Cup winner Sir Geoff Hurst.

At 24-years-old, Kane is well on his way to smashing all The Three Lions’ goal-scoring records, having scored 18-goals in just 24 appearances for his country.

England have a real shot of going far in the competition with Kane in the form that he is right now. He’s one of the best strikers on the planet, and Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas appears to agree.

As much of a fan Fabregas is of Kane, he doesn’t appear to be particularly fond of Tottenham. It’s hardly surprising considering he’s played for both Arsenal and Chelsea.

Fabregas sang the praises of Kane following his performance against Panama, but couldn’t resist having a dig at Spurs. He’s quoted by the Daily Star saying:

“Harry Kane is probably the best striker in the Premier League. I think he’s now ready to go to a big club.”

Cesc is proper Chels!
