Chelsea attacker Eden Hazard believes that the injury that delayed his return to action at the start of the season is in the past, ITV reports.

Hazard scored the only goal in the Blues’ win against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday night.

When speaking in a post-match interview, the Belgian talked about his condition on the pitch and just how important the coming games are for Chelsea.

ITV quotes Hazard saying:

“I’m training hard, the injury is the past. We are full of confidence now, two big games in Champions League and Premier League. And we are ready to play both.”

The Belgian’s first start of the season came in the 5-1 thrashing of Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup in September. This meant he had missed the first month of Chelsea’s season.

However, since his recovery, Hazard has shown great form despite back to back league defeats against Manchester City and Crystal Palace.

The 26-year-old scored his first league goal of the season last night. It proved to be the decisive goal as we look to put the pressure on league leaders Manchester City.

Despite, the underwhelming season so far, it’s great to have our star player back.
