Maurizio Sarri

These rumours will just not go away, and they’re beginning to get tedious.

There is no concrete suggestions that Antonio Conte will be going anywhere anytime soon, yet there is continuous reports that the club are looking to replace him.

As per Football Italia, the Premier League champions are lining up Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri to replace Conte at the end of the season. Napoli are second in Serie A with a game in hand, what Sarri has done there is commendable.

Football Italia cite fellow Italian outlet 7 Gold television in reporting that Chelsea are already working on making an approach for Sarri, as their relationship with current boss Conte has broken down.

It is reported that the Blues are prepared to offer Sarri £10.7M-a-year in order to entice him to leave Naples and move to West London.

Until there is any substance to rumours that Conte could be on his way out, take any rumours about a replacement with an almighty pinch of salt.
