Oliver Giroud needs five stitches after receiving a head knock in the 3-0 victory over West Brom on Monday, The Daily Mail reports.
Giroud, who made his full debut against the Baggies, was accidentally hit by Ahmed Hegazi after failing to meet Cesar Azpilicueta’s cross.
The Frenchman needed urgent treatment after the collision in the first half and continued heavily bandaged. Alvaro Morata made his return from a back injury in the 60th minute and replaced Giroud.
As per The Daily Mail, Antonio Conte revealed that the 31-year-old is still available for the FA Cup fifth round fixture against Hull City on Friday.

A satisfactory full debut for Giroud
Despite missing a great chance of scoring when he shot straight at goalkeeper Ben Foster, Giroud’s Stamford Bridge welcome as a Chelsea player will have pleased many.
The centre-forward’s link up play with his teammates including Eden Hazard, who he assisted for the first goal, was beneficial in our attacking display.
The £18m may not be world class but he can still be an influential player for Conte’s Chelsea.
