Higuain Hazard

Chelsea’s starting eleven to face Manchester United in the FA Cup has been confirmed, and surprise, surprise, there’s no Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Amid Bayern Munich’s intense interest back in January, Maurizio Sarri insisted that Hudson-Odoi would be getting minutes in the weeks and months going forward. He went as far as claiming that he now views the youngster on par with Willian and Pedro. If you haven’t already realised, he clearly did it just to convince him to stay.

Hudson-Odoi has been left on the bench once again, so has Ruben Loftus-Cheek. We know Sarri has no interest in mixing it up. We shouldn’t have expected any different. On a positive note, we get to see Eden Hazard and Gonzalo Higuain linking up in attack once again. That’s what we’ve all been waiting for, after all.

Tonight provides an opportunity for the players to bounce back from the 6-0 defeat to Manchester City, as well as a chance for Sarri to preserve his position as Chelsea manager, for a few more weeks at least. Here’s Chelsea and Manchester United’s starting elevens in full. What do you think, Blues? Can we get the job done?
