Eden Hazard

Chelsea winger Eden Hazard has provided Blues fans with the news that we have all been waiting for.

Hazard has been Chelsea’s star man since the 2013/14 campaign, where he truly established himself as one of the best players in the Premier League. He has since been instrumental in two title triumphs during his time at Stamford Bridge, and it doesn’t look as though his good performances have gone unnoticed.

As Marca report, Hazard has been linked with a move to Real Madrid. Cristiano Ronaldo appears to be in decline and Los Blancos will undoubtedly be in the hunt for their next superstar. Hazard sticks all the boxes, and as Marca note, his father has hinted that he would be interested in making the move to the Santiago Bernabeu.

However, Hazard himself does not appear so keen on forcing his way out of SW6. The Belgian is quoted by Marca rubbishing his father’s comments and insisting he’s happy at Chelsea:

“I talked to him about it. He said some bad things, I’m only focused on Chelsea. There are two years left on my contract and I’m happy here. I’ve already said 10 times that I want to finish this season and then we’ll see.”

Great news!
