Chelsea forward Alvaro Morata says he is ‘happy in London’ after reports from earlier today suggested the Spaniard was feeling unsettled, the Daily Star reports.

The summer signing from Real Madrid has been a sensation for the Blues, scoring seven goals already this season.

When speaking in tonight’s pre-match press conference, the striker cleared up the rumours that he could be unsettled in SW6. Morata is quoted by the Daily Star saying:

“We have a problem of understanding the interview. If Chelsea offered me ten years I would probably sign it.”

The 25-year-old’s main focus of attention has to be on our crucial Champions League tie against Roma tomorrow night. Morata’s importance in the match at the Stadio Olimpico will be crucial if we are to be victorious.

This game is set up well for Morata in the hope he ends his five-game goal drought as the Blues could potentially qualify for the knockout stages of the competition with a win.

But for now, at least these suggestions that the player could be discontent are false and he appears to be fully committed to the club.
