As per Sky Sports, talks between Terry and Championship side Villa over a new contract are yet to be discussed.
The Englishman turned down several offers from Premier League clubs after admitting facing Chelsea would have been “too much”, Sky Sports reported in July.

Terry reached 717 appearances for Chelsea, the third most by any player in our history and has been linked with a potential behind the scenes role at the club.
Both parties continue to hold a special relationship and with changes around the Blues expected to happen next season, it’s very likely a position will be open for the 37-year-old.
Chelsea’s former captain has been doing his coaching badges that will only enhance an opportunity for Terry to return to SW6.
