Goal have provided an update on the condition of Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante.
Kante limped off during France’s clash with Bulgaria during the international break. With the former Leicester City man proving to be an essential piece of Antonio Conte’s puzzle since his arrival at Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2016, the Chelsea faithful collectively held their breath as they awaited news on his condition.
Thanks to Goal, we can now share an update with you on Kante’s condition. Their report claims that Kante has suffered a tear in his hamstring. It is reported that scans have confirmed the injury and he will likely miss up to three weeks of action. What a hammer blow that is to Chelsea’s title hopes. Even at this early stage of the campaign, we cannot afford to fall behind the Manchester sides.
If Goal’s assessment is correct and Kante will be sidelined for three weeks, he will be forced to sit out clashes with Crystal Palace, Watford, Bournemouth and AS Roma. Get well soon, N’Golo.
