Chelsea duo Thibaut Courtois and Cesar Azpilicueta have shared their thoughts on Instagram after the Everton match.
The Toffees held the visitors to a 0-0 draw despite Chelsea’s dominance throughout the game.
Even though it feels like two points dropped, the pair did well in earning a clean sheet on Saturday.
Azpilicueta spent most of the match in the opposition half. Everton created little chances as the Spaniard was untroubled. It was a solid performance from Azpilicueta. Perhaps not having his partner in crime Alvaro Morata on the pitch was the reason Chelsea couldn’t score.
Courtois like Azpilicueta was hardly worried by Everton’s attacking threat. The Belgian spent most of the 90 minutes watching his team attempt to score. However, like many goalkeepers, Courtois will feel he didn’t have to pick up the ball in the back of his own net.
