Chelsea and Manchester City have two of the strongest squads in the Premier League, if not in Europe.

Both side’s vast financial power has allowed them to assemble two star-studded groups of players which will be going head-to-head in the title race this term. The two sides will first lock-horns on Saturday night on the Stamford Bridge turf, which will be the first real indication of the season which side has genuine title credentials.

Imagine for a moment if Chelsea and Man City combined resources. If arguably the two strongest sides in England, who have a real chance of being competitive in the Champions League this term, morphed into one mega-rich, super-club. It’d be frightening.

The only question is, how do you accommodate the vast amount of talent both side’s possess into one starting eleven? We’ve tried our best to do so. Here’s our Chelsea and Manchester City combined XI, there’s no place for our club-record signing Alvaro Morata or City’s midfield genius David Silva! Do you agree?
