Tammy Abraham Gonzalo Higuain

Chelsea will head into this summer with plenty of holes in their squad, and a very uncertain situation regarding whether they will be able to fill those holes.

Loan players can come back, but it may be hard to find starting quality players in some of those positions.

Reece James can slot in at right back, but is Tammy Abraham really ready to lead a Premier League attack?

If we are able to sign a striker we surely will. Gonzalo Higuain and Olivier Giroud just aren’t trusted by Sarri at this point, and it’s hard to see any new managers coming in with much of a different opinion.

It’s a long running issue, and no matter who they choose, the upstairs needs to throw money at this problem to solve it with a big name.

We’d love to trust Tammy, but he’s still so unproven at this level, and we can’t afford another wasted season outside the Champions League.

Maybe the ban will be enforced and Tammy will get that chance after all?
