Gonzalo Higuain has not been a terrible signing for Chelsea so far, but he has proved to be an ultimate flat track bully.
His goals came against Huddersfield and Fulham, while he has disappointed in our games against stronger sides, as we’ve struggled since his arrival in January.
Tomorrow’s games, then, provides the perfect opportunity for him to carry on that streak of scoring against relegation candidates. Nobody will be complaining about the calibre of opposition when they’re celebrating another brace from the Argentine in Wales tomorrow.
At this stage, we’re just looking for points, wherever they come from. If the former Napoli striker can bag a few in next three games against more defensively suspect sides, he can really put us in a strong position for the end of the season.
This is the job he was brought into for – finishing those easier chances that our last bunch of forwards had so much trouble putting in the net. Now is your time to shine, Gonzalo.
