Maurizio Sarri is in line to play a very popular lineup against Brighton tonight.
The way the chips have fallen mean that Eden Hazard, Callum Hudson-Odoi, N’Golo Kante and Emerson are all set to come into the team, producing a final XI that will please a lot of fans online.
There is one other tweak that Sarri may decide to make. Given Antonio Rudiger played in the international break and then again on Sunday in Cardiff, he may decide to rotate a little and play Andreas Christensen against the Seagulls in the German’s place.
That really would produce an almost perfect team for some Twitter Chelsea fans. With so many games incoming we’re likely to see all manner of different configurations in the near future. This would be a very popular one.
The focus will all be on Callum Hudson-Odoi if his name does indeed end up on the teamsheet. But this tweak at the back could be an equally effective change as we look to find a workable XI heading into the final stretch of the season.
