What level do you think Filip Jorgensen is at? It’s no wonder Robert Sanchez is starting every game at the moment, what else do we have? It’s incredible to think back to last season when they did all they could to drop Sanchez in favour of Jorgensen but soon realised even he wasn’t good enough to bench Sanchez.
They then sold Djordje Petrovic, who benched Sanchez the season before, for a tidy bit of profit.
The goalkeeper situation at our club is an absolute shambles just like the defender situation, and I want to know who scouted, recommended, and then recruited Jorgensen? Because I see nothing more than a Championship level goalkeeper I’m afraid. He probably had good data though. Newsflash, data is not everything.
Watching Jorgensen last night against Lincoln was seriously painful. He flapped at everything, missed everything in the air, and just looked like a nervous wreck. It’s no wonder our centre backs looked so bad, imagine playing in front of a keeper who is breeding you the opposite of any confidence?
When I asked for our keeper to come out and win the ball taking anyone out in front of him last week, I meant actually winning the ball and trying not to put your own team mate in Hospital whilst doing so! He had ZERO clue on how to come for crosses and high balls, what do the coaches coach him!?
Jorgensen should have been sold in the summer and replaced, another mistake admitted. He cost us £21m by the way…..
As I said with a centre back, go and get me a dominate and strong goalkeeper who is good at everything and not just shot-stopping, or not just passing. Can we not nail a new stopper with ALL attributes that we need? You’re going to tell me they don’t exist, right? Or not available? PLEASE!
