Reports in Italy claim that AC Milan are considering signing Tiemoue Bakayoko on a permanent basis following a run of positive performances. It’s a fickle game, isn’t it?

Bakayoko hoped to find some rejuvenation at the San Siro, but was unable to lift his performance level anywhere beyond the dross that we saw at Chelsea last season. As a result, a permanent deal was seemingly off the table.

The situation has now changed. Bakayoko has stopped playing like he has his laces tied together, and Milan appear more open to the idea of him sticking around beyond the end of the season – but they won’t purchase him at the originally arranged price.

Tuttosport claim that signing Bakayoko has become a real option for the Rossoneri, but Chelsea will have to give Milan a €15M discount to have any hope of the deal materialising. Considering he doesn’t  have a future here, let’s get what we can for him and move on.
