Chelsea midfielder Lewis Baker could be on his way to Leeds United this summer.

Baker impressed during his time as Chelsea’s youth team captain. He looked destined to grow into a player capable of competing for game-time both for the first-team and the England national team.

However, things have not yet fallen into place for Baker, who turned 23 back in April. Baker has spent the past three-years out on-loan with four different teams. He’s at a point in his career where he needs to settle down, and Elland Road could be the ideal destination.

According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds United are in talks with Chelsea over the possibility of signing Baker this summer. It’s yet unclear whether it will be a permanent move or another loan.

The report claims that negotiations are now at an advanced stage, with Baker expected to complete the move to Leeds before the end of the summer transfer window.
