Thibaut Courtois has revealed when he will make a final decision on his future as a Chelsea player.
With the uncertainty surrounding the managerial situation at Stamford Bridge, we could do without the possibility of losing integral members of the squad this summer.
However, Courtois, N’Golo Kante and Eden Hazard have all been linked with the exit door. The goalkeeper appears the most likely to jump ship.
He is entering the final year of his Chelsea contract, with Real Madrid thought to be interested in signing him this summer.
Decision time is fast approaching for Courtois. For now, his full focus is on the task at hand with Belgium in Russia, but that will soon change. He will soon have to make the biggest decision of his career so far.
The player himself has revealed that he will his decide his future in a week or so. He’s quoted by the Express saying:
“After the World Cup, in about seven or eight days, I’ll decide what is best for me. I’ll talk [about my future] later.”
