Borussia Dortmund have reportedly held talks with Chelsea over the permanent transfer of striker Michy Batshuayi.

Batshuayi’s talent and potential have rarely been in question. Antonio Conte’s lack of faith in the Belgian was the major contributing factor behind his failures at Stamford Bridge. He was forced to join Dortmund on a season-long loan in search of regular first-team football.

The 24-year-old lit up the Bundesliga, finding the back of the net 7 times during his 10 appearances in Germany’s top-tier. His season was derailed by a serious ankle injury, but that does not appear to have put Dortmund off pursuing him once again this summer.

According to the Daily Mail, Dortmund have held talks with Chelsea over signing Batshuayi. We’re thought to be demanding £50M in exchange for him, which seems like a fair price considering the current, inflated nature of the transfer market.

What would you do, Blues? Does Batshuayi deserve a shot in the first-team, or is it time to cash-in and sign another top striker? Let us know in the comments.

I think selling him is a bad idea, come on Chelsea when can we start giving Young players a chance to prove their self? Soon we start regretting the way we are regretting about salah, kevin De Bruno and so many others

Exchange Batshuayi for Pulisic. He is an exciting talent and would add a lot to the team.
