According to the Athletic this week, the Blues have set a €50m asking price for Alejandro Garnacho, and are “hopeful his departure can be secured in the next two weeks.”
“Chelsea sources say they have received interest from clubs in the Premier League, Europe and the Saudi Pro League, and believe a club will meet their valuation.”
The winger is not in preseason training, and new manager Xabi Alonso’s words yesterday made it pretty clear that a sale is the club’s priority.

If you’d asked us a week ago whether we thought any team was going to pay £40m for Alejandro Garnacho, we’d have said it was unlikely, €50m is an even longer shot. But Chelsea’s actions show clearly they think it’s going to happen, and they have a lot more information than we do.
It brings hope to all those Blues who never wanted Garnacho in the first place and now see a miracle chance to be rid of him after just one year. The fact they think can get it done in two weeks is even more impressive – but will this all turn out to be terrible hubris?
