Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante this summer.
Kante is one of the best midfielders on the planet, let’s not beat around the bush. He proved that at Leicester, he’s proved it at Chelsea, and he’s reaffirming it to the entire footballing world with France at the World Cup in Russia.
He’s ours, and we’d like it to stay that way, but having a player as talented as Kante on your books will always attract interest from the biggest clubs in the world. Worryingly, it appears to have done so.
According to Mediagol, Juventus and PSG are set to battle for Kante this summer. It seems likely that Chelsea would demand a monumental fee to even consider allowing him to depart.
Mediagol believe that Chelsea have already considered who we would replace Kante with, should the unthinkable happen and he did leave. Lyon’s Tanguy Ndombele, OGC Nice’s Jean Michael Seri and Napoli’s Amadou Diawara are all thought to be options.
