Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko has reportedly been offered to Milan, but the Serie A side aren’t interested at the minute.
Bakayoko isn’t your archetypal Maurizio Sarri player, that’s for sure, but we figured the Italian would give him a chance to show some kind of improvement before deciding to let him go.
That may not be the case. Calciomercato report that Bakayoko has been deemed too physical for Sarri’s style of play, and is subsequently on the transfer list.
The Frenchman is thought to have been offered to Milan, but they do not consider him to be a priority target at the time of writing.
Sarri could be lumbered with Bakayoko, who does look to be a complete misfit. Unless his distribution improves, he could suffer through a second season of torment.
Milan’s list of options may shorten and their interest in Bakayoko will rise. We’ll have to wait and see.
