Outside Stamford Bridge

Three of Europe’s biggest clubs are interested in signing Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard, according to transfer expert Ian McGarry.

Hazard is one of the best players on the planet. He proved it while playing for Belgium at the World Cup, and his inclusion in the FIFPro XI on Monday night was testament to how highly he is rated in the football world.

The Belgian has started the season emphatically, finding the back of the net five times in his opening six Premier League appearances, as well as providing two assists for his teammates.

The issue with Hazard is his precarious contract situation. He has less than two-years left to run on his deal, and there has yet to be any acceleration on him penning an extension.

According to Ian McGarry, as reported by the Daily Star, this has alerted Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich. All three sides are thought to be keen on signing him next summer, when he’ll have just a year left to run.

We have to get this contract extension sorted as soon as possible, or losing Hazard will no longer be a fear of ours, it will become reality.

Chelsea need to NOW show the ambition to keep Hazard by offering a long-term binding contract with a huge buyout clause. They also need to show him they are ambitious enough to accommodate his own ambitions by securing other young top 10 players such as Mbappe.
