Dominic Solanke failed to break into Antonio Conte's first-team squad at Chelsea.

German club RB Leipzig have reportedly held talks over a move for striker Dominic Solanke because the Blues have failed to reach an agreement over a new contract.

Liverpool and Bayern Munich are also looking at the youngster with a view to signing during the summer transfer window. Liverpool dismissed the idea of signing Solanke earlier this year but now are re-examining their options.

Chelsea should be able to command a few of around £8million for the England Under-21 international if he joins another team in England. The blues would miss out on substantial compensation should he move abroad and the daily mail report RB Leipzig could get the player just £350,000 in compensation.

Solanke has been at Chelsea since the age of seven and has only made one first-team appearance. He is yet to play under Antonio Conte since the Italian took over the reins last summer, last season he spent time on loan at Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem.

It remains to be seen if Chelsea will offer a player who came through the youth academy a chance and a new contract or he’ll leave in the summer.
