Napoli midfielder Jorginho will be Chelsea’s second most expensive signing of all-time.

Maurizio Sarri is on the verge of replacing Antonio Conte as Chelsea manager, and he’ll be reunited with the Italian at Stamford Bridge after a short absence.

The details of the deal have been revealed by reliable Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano on Twitter – and the pair will not arrive on the cheap!

As Romano reports, Chelsea are set to spend €57M to sign Manchester City target Jorginho from Napoli this summer.

That will make him the second most expensive player we’ve ever signed, behind Alvaro Morata and narrowly ahead of Fernando Torres.

He’s hardly in great company there, so we sincerely hope that he outperforms the pair during his time as a Chelsea player.

Jorginho will only improve playing alongside N’Golo Kante, who has even managed to make Manchester United’s Paul Pogba look good at the World Cup!
