The reliable RMC are reporting that Real Madrid have now reached an agreement with Chelsea for the transfer of Thibaut Courtois.
It’s all been kicking off today.
Sky Sports reported earlier today that Liverpool had made a bid in the region of €70M for Roma keeper Alisson Becker.
That information had came from their Italian counterparts. They later rubbished it, claiming that no bid had been made, but interest in signing him remains.
With Alisson not heading to Anfield, as it was first thought, we have now been given an indication he could be joining Chelsea.
It was previously suggested that Chelsea would not green-light Courtois’ move to Real Madrid unless a replacement was secured. One may well have been now.
RMC claim that Courtois to Real Madrid is now a done deal. €35M, four-year deal – signed and sealed.
The goalkeeper merry-go-round has exploded into life today. We have absolutely no idea what’s going to happen next!
