Real Madrid are reportedly set to launch a £112M bid for Chelsea winger Eden Hazard – but it won’t be enough.
Hazard has been long-term linked with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu. Speculation has only increased following the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo.
There has been suggestion that Real could sign both Hazard and Thibaut Courtois this summer. It would be a huge loss if they both departed.
According to the London Evening Standard, Los Blancos are growing confident that Courtois will sign for them this summer, and have subsequently moved onto Hazard.
It’s claimed that Real are set to offer £112M in exchange for the 27-year-old. That will, though, fall £88M short of Chelsea’s valuation.
Florentino Perez is going to have to pull something special out the bag in order to convince Chelsea to sell Hazard this summer.
Unless we change our stance drastically, we wouldn’t expect him to leave. You may rest easy…
