Barcelona are reportedly set to make a second bid for Chelsea winger Willian, after seeing an initial £50M proposal rejected by the Blues.
Many consider Willian to be one of our best players in recent years, but in reality, he’s been incredibly inconsistent. Antonio Conte has struggled to find faith in the Brazilian, often opting to leave him among the substitutes. That appears to have caused a major breakdown in the pair’s relationship.
Willian’s future at Stamford Bridge is now in doubt amid reported interest from not only Barca, but also Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United. The Special One will have to act quickly if his interest in the 29-year-old is genuine, with Barcelona thought to be set to bid again.
According to the Daily Mail, Barcelona will increase their £50M bid in hope of landing Willian. The report doesn’t mention how much the Catalan giants will offer, but their interest in signing him appears to be both genuine and intense.
