Spurs star Christian Eriksen fired in an absolute beauty against Chelsea this afternoon to equaliser for Tottenham against the Blues in the Premier League at the Bridge.
The Lilywhites playmaker banged home an unstoppable effort from the edge of the box past Caballero in our goal to make the scores 1-1 going into the break at Stamford Bridge.
Spanish star Alvaro Morata, who hasn’t had the best of starts to his Blues career since his move from Real Madrid in the summer, had put the Blues one goal to the good earlier in the half.
However, Eriksen’s fine strike means that the Blues and Spurs go into half-time all square in a match Antonio Conte’s side desperately need to win in order to boost our chances of securing Champions League football for next season.
Here’s a clip of the midfielder’s absolute peach of a strike against the Premier League champions this afternoon.
Should Caballero have done better with the attempt? Will we be able to beat Mauricio Pochettino’s side and move to within two points of them come full-time? Let us know below.
