Kepa Arrizabalaga may have been unable to prevent Chelsea losing the shootout, but he certainly took the attention away from manager Maurizio Sarri.

Kepa refused to leave the field even though the fourth official was holding his number aloft, with Willy Caballero poised to enter the action. Maurizio Sarri lost his rag and even looked as though he was set to storm down the tunnel, before thinking better of it.
Despite the fact that he had hugely disrespected Sarri and may well have hammered the final nail into his managerial coffin, Kepa didn’t have much sympathy. As the game headed to penalties, he aimed a cheeky wink at the camera. This is only going to further agitate Sarri…
