Chelsea are reportedly attempting to use Juventus’ interest in re-signing Alvaro Morata to their advantage.
The Serie A side have been linked with making a move to sign the Spaniard this summer, who failed to impress at Stamford Bridge last term after signing for a club-record fee.
Morata spent two-years at Juventus between 2014 and 2016, scored 27-goals and winning five pieces of silverware under the stewardship of Massimiliano Allegri.
Could he be set to return this summer? It looks to be a genuine possibility.
According to IlBianconero, Juventus are considering striking a swap-deal with Chelsea to sign Morata which will see Gonzalo Higuain move in the opposite direction.
Chelsea are thought to be interested in signing the Argentine, with Maurizio Sarri previously working with him during his time at Napoli.
The move, on paper, would be beneficial for both parties, who would both be provided with their desired centre-forwards. We hope it materialises, what do you think?
Hard to imagine Higuain missing 4 ‘sitters’ in a whole season … I watched Morata do it in one game !???!
