LOAN WATCH: Premier League outfit Burnley are hoping to sign Chelsea midfielder Danny Drinkwater on loan before the window slams shut tomorrow evening, report the Daily Mail.

While Chelsea are unable to make any additions ahead of the deadline, parting with Drinkwater will undoubtedly be high on Marina Granovskaia’s to-do list. He’s a high earner with no influence on the field of play. It’s very much time to get rid.

Thankfully, Burnley could be set to give us the opportunity to part with Drinkwater before the transfer deadline. The Daily Mail believe that Sean Dyche is keen on recruiting the Englishman and the Clarets are primed to make their move in the coming hours.

It seems likely that Chelsea will have to pay a portion of Drinkwater’s wages in order to get him out of the door before the window shuts, but that’s a small price to pay to get a player with a stinking attitude out of the dressing room. Hopefully, for good.
