We may well see Michy Batshuayi back at Stamford Bridge next season, with Kristof Terreur providing some much-craved details on his situation.
Batshuayi divides opinion among the Chelsea faithful, but you can’t deny that he knows how to find the back of the net. That’s more than can be said for many strikers we’ve seen at Stamford Bridge over the years.
Though he has just two in eight Premier League appearances at Palace, he hasn’t been provided with the quality of service he has come to expect while playing for bigger clubs and stronger teams – all due respect.
We firmly believe that he could thrive at Chelsea if given an opportunity, which is why we’re delighted to hear that Palace do not have an option to buy him permanently – at least that’s what Terreur has claimed on Twitter.
Not only that, he has also insinuated that our impending transfer ban could prove decisive when it comes to Michy’s future. Could we be convinced to keep him around if we’re unable to recruit from elsewhere?
Kompany will likely get a 1 year extension, Lukaku will be very expensive (definitelty for Italians), Michy’s future will depend of Chelsea’s transfer ban. Benteke is on good wages, so not the easiest move. Hazard is the only one that is really wanted by a club willing to spend.

We certainly hope so…
